On this occasion, our client is an international gold mining company are currently looking for an experienced site based Maintenance Planner / Trainer who is available for an immediate start at their Gold mine in West Africa.
To be successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
Trades Qualification and Tertiary or Post Trade Qualification in Engineering / Maintenance planning or maintenance management.
Training certificate IV or equivalent
5 years’ experience in large scale mineral processing or mining environment including at least 3 years in maintenance planning roles.
Experience in Pronto and preventative systems
Experience in developing countries or other countries with similar austere and demanding environments (not essential but highly advantageous)
Ability to speak French or Wolof (advantageous)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential)
Fluent in reading and writing in English (essential)
Experience and willingness to train, mentor, lead and mentor others (essential)
Medical and Mental fitness able to comply with and maintain Company Medical Standards
